OSTEOPATHY IN ADULTS

It is a manual therapy that deals the body in its globality. It interrelates all the systems that integrate the human body, considering the anatomy and physiology. 

Osteopathy is a therapy to prevent different types of disease related to the dysfunctions that generates the daily and working activities in our body.

These diseases can become illness in the end. To avoid it, we recommend to treat with osteopathy at least one session per year .

Treatment settings

Structural
  • Lumbago, sciatica (also for pregnancy),vertebral impingement, lock vertebra,  slipped disc, cervical and dorsal pain, muscular pain and stress.
  • Articular and Muscular pain located in:  foot, ankle, knee, hip, wrist, elbow, shoulder, contractures and soft tissue injuries.​​

Visceral
  • Impaired functionality: Digestive, Hepatic bile, urogynecological, urinary incontinence, hemorrhoids, circulatory disorders, constipation.

Cranial
  • Headache, migraine, dizziness, vertigo and jaw malocclusion

Osteopathy looks for the origin of the dysfunction or primary injury, to restore proper functioning of all the areas of the body that are in restriction and at the same time to achieve the overall rebalancing to enjoy good health.

Prevention

Osteopathy is a teraphy which can avoid different kinds of disease in relation to the childbirth (especially in forceps childbirth), from small or big traumatisms in the cranial area, or even  daily activities. These disease can become illness eventually. To prevent it, the recommendation is to have a treatment for the first months of life, or failing the first years.

Treatment settings

Cranial
  • Headache, repetitive otitis, tonsillitis, hypoglossal nerve injuries, suction disorders and vomiting breastfeeding, plagiocephaly ( skull deformation).

Locomotor system
  • Stiff neck by birth or postural, back pain, scoliosis, deformities in the legs, brachal plexus palsy (loss of arm strength)

  • Difficult digestions, regurgitations, vomiting, asthma, bronchitis.
